Carters Creek Christian Church, Orleans, Indiana, will be having its annual late summer Revival soon.  This year’s dates are Aug. 24, 25, 26, & 27 (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).  Sunday morning worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening services will begin at 7:00 p.m. each night.  
Leading us in worship and special music each evening will be Gina Humphrey and Tim Chastain.  Our revival speaker this year is  Kerry Allen, president of Louisville Bible College in Louisville, Ky.  Everyone is invited to come and be with us.

The Arthritis Foundation is offering its "Walking With Ease" program, a free, community-based initiative designed to help individuals with arthritis manage chronic pain and improve their mobility. The program is also aimed at combating social isolation through regular group walking activities.

The first session runs from September 8 to October 17, and the second session is from October 20 to November 26. All classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Participants will meet at the Switchyard Park Picnic Shelter, located by the playground. Each one-hour session includes an active warm-up, stretching, health education, and a guided walk on the B-Line Trail. The walks are instructor-led, and the length and difficulty are tailored to each participant, with walking times ranging from 20 to 40 minutes per session.
