TOPS is a weight loss support group that meets every Wednesday at Church of Christ Southland. Weigh-in starts at 9:30am. The support meeting starts at 10. Individuals are welcome to attend as a guest for their first meeting. After that TOPS membership is required. Men and Women are welcome! For more info contact Loretta 812-797-3537.

Springville Community Academy will once again be offering free summer meals to children 18 and younger.  You may pick up 7 days of breakfast and 2 weekend lunches on Mondays from 11 am to 1 pm.  They will be offering a hot lunch daily, Monday through Friday, that can be eaten at the school or taken to go.  If you are unable to bring your children to pick up the meals, you may pick up meals for them or assign a guardian/caregiver to pick up the meals.  There are forms available at the school to give permission to those who will be picking up the meals.  The meals will be available June 2 through July 25.  They will be closed on July 4.

Every Friday & Saturday night, enjoy live music, dancing, and making new friends at the Mitchell Senior Center. Singles, couples, and groups are always welcome. A different band will perform each weekend. Admission for members is $6, non-members $7. The doors open at 5 p.m., and the dance starts at 6.

Every second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 2:00pm EST - Southern Indiana Dementia Caregiver Support Group is offered by the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana.  Pre-registration is preferred but not required.  Contact Diana Matthews at 812-276-4270 or via email at dmatthews4@iuhealth.org  Build a support system with people who understand.  Alzheimer's Association support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for care partners of those living with dementia to:

• Develop a support system
• Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions
• Talk through issues and ways of coping
• Share feelings, needs and concerns
• Learn about community resources
